digital teaching aid on the Children’s Right Convention

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child was ratified as Swedish law in January 2020. What does that actually entail? To help children and people working near children to sort that out we, together with MR-piloterna, developed Barnrättsdetektiverna – an educational tool for children between 6-9 years. The tool is a gamified version of a teaching material that allows the child to, in a playful way, learn about and make use of their rights set by the UN.

Know your rights!

Kids generally have low knowledge of their human rights, but in best cases they are familiar with term United Nations. The tools objective is to educate kids on the matter, in a fun and interactive way.

The tool is platform based and will be used in class. Teachers will guide the pupils along a path of thoughtful and educative videos, followed by series of quizzes, workshops and group discussions.
