qjouren väst
Qjouren Väst offers shelter and support to women exposed to violence. They’re the only organisation in Sweden to do so without requesting the aid seekers to be sober. They are convinced that all people subjected to violence are in title of protection – no matter the conditions they live under. We fully share their believes and helped them to a new visual identity, a website and a campaign.
Insight
Qjouren Väst needed to be easily comprehensible to several target groups, aid-seekers as well as public authorities. The latter in order to make enough impact to get financial support to maintain their operation. Qjouren Väst also needed to be able to reach out in an easy and non-time-consuming way, so that they could focus fully on their primary activity.
Idea
We used an illustrative manner to create a visual identity that would be easy to relate to, no matter the target group. We used an easy-to-work-with interface when we applied the design to Qjouren Väst’s new website, ensuring it would be friction-free for the team at Qjouren to update the website and share their content in social media. We also wrote and distributed a debate article and provided them with social media posts for them to use to push the article.
Impact
The new website meant that Qjouren Väst could manage and distribute their messages on their own, in a hassle-free digital environment. Soon after the launch, they experienced an increase in people reaching out to them. The PR campaign hit a lot of traffic when Gothenburg’s largest newspaper GP picked it up.
